CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
HOT YOGA
By practicing a series of yoga postures in a humid and hot room with a temperature of 40 degrees celcius, it increases your heart rate for a more intense workout and also to allow the heat to allow muscles loosen.
VINYASA FLOW
This yoga class focuses on an approach where you move from one pose directly into the next. Vinyasa moves at a faster pace and requires greater breathing control than Hatha yoga.
HATHA FLOW
The Hatha Flow Yoga class differs to the Vinyassa Flow in that you move more slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. This type of yoga allows for more stretching as poses are held for longer.
YOGA YIN
This class is perfect for anyone who would like to deepen their practice. It is a slow restorative asana sequence, holding poses for a few minutes at a a time. It improves mobility, reduces stress and anxiety, whilst restoring balance to the body.
PILATES
The Pilates classes are designed to help you improve your flexibility, build strength and it teaches you how to develop control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
BEGINNERS YOGA
Whether you are completely new to yoga or a yoga enthusiast this class is open to all levels. The class will cover the fundamentals of yoga in order to build a strong foundation and understanding of alignment and technique. It will move at a slightly slower pace to allow for exploration of your body and breath and to build your confidence in the practise.
